By taking time to identify where we are holding stress and tension in the physical body, working with breathing techniques and mobility movements with seated Tai – Chi and using relaxation techniques to quieten the mind, we can learn to de-stress and gain a sense of calm and peace.
You just need a comfortable firm chair – preferably without arms, and perhaps you may wish to play a relaxing C.D. when we do our relaxation and meditation session. (no-one will hear as your microphone will be on mute)
A constant overload of stress can cause physical symptoms such as dizziness, a faster heartbeat, chest pain and even stomach problems. Mentally, we can have trouble in concentrating – struggle to make decisions, feel overwhelmed, experience constant worrying and even be more forgetful.
Learn how to tune into breathing techniques which will help to cleanse the body and boost the immune system as well as calming the emotions and in turn give us mental clarity.
